This 26" x 30' Black Stair Runner is made out of the Olefin and is 100% Heat Set. Olefin fiber is a synthetic fiber made from alkenes. It is used in the manufacture of various textiles as well as clothing, upholstery, wallpaper, ropes, and vehicle interiors. Olefin is also referred to as polypropylene, polyethylene, or polyolefin. Olefin's advantages are its strength, colorfastness, comfort, stain, mildew, abrasion and sunlight resistance, as well as good bulk and cover.

A Sarouk Rug is a type of Persian rug from the
province of Arak. The Sarouk Rug is produced in towns and villages across the
province of
Arak. Sarouk is the name of a village but it also has become the name of a grade of rug from that area. Trade names for the rugs of the Sarouk region include: Feraghan, Feraghan Sarouk, Mahal, Mohajaran Sarouk, Mushkabad (now called Mahal) and Viss. However Sarouk rugs generally refer to the best grade of Arak rugs rather than the product of just one village.
