Rene Magritte Poster - "The Son of Man"

In 1964 Rene Magritte produced this poignant self portrait entitled, "The Son of Man".  The painting is a deep reflection of hidden thoughts and interpretations within the complex human mind.  A strategically placed green apple obscures the face of the artist and allowing only to see a sliver of each eye.  The artist is dressed as if about to make a sales call with the left arm bent at an odd angle.  

Rene Magritte proved to influence such artistic greats as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and John Baldessau.  This surrealist work reflects Rene Magritte's signature style and would prove to add artistic flair to any wall.
