What is Ripstopper technology?
Ripstopper technology is a combination of mechanical and chemical engineering processes that result in enhanced weave strength and greater durability. These enhancements mean that our winter pool covers are designed to resist damage. If the pool cover suffers a small puncture, it will resist tearing even if stressed or exposed to wind.
Quality construction
In addition to being tear resistant, our winter pool covers also feature polycarbonate grommets. Polycarbonate grommets will not rust, and they are 3 times stronger than aluminum grommets. That's a meaningful advantage when you consider the wet environment around your pool. Lastly, our winter pool covers are UV treated, so they'll last longer under the glare of the sun.

How to choose the right size winter pool cover
Simply select the winter pool cover that matches (or is slightly larger) then the size of your pool. The winter pool cover itself will be larger than the pool, but this is necessary because the extra material will be used to secure your cover throughout the winter. For example, on an above ground pool, the material will drape over the sides of the pool, allowing you to fasten it down with the winch and cable. On an inground pool, pool noodles will lay on the outer edges of the pool cover where it rests on your deck or patio, keeping it in place.
5 year limited winter pool cover warranty
1. This cover is warrantied, at the time of original purchase, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Your pool cover must be inspected carefully prior to installation, since the manufacturer is not responsible for any tears, rips, or punctures due to mishandling or improper installation.
2. The pro-rate replacement schedule are the following percentages of the current suggested manufacturer's list price;
1) First season - No charge
2) 2nd Season - 50%
3) 3rd Season - 70%
4) 4th Season - 80%
5) 5th Season - 90%
3. The above limited warranties are subject to the following conditions;
a) A season ends on April 30 of each calendar year
b) Purchaser is responsible for all installation or re-installation costs for any pool cover, or pool cover part, repaired or replaced
